Project Title: "A Lasting Tribute": Multi-format Campaign for Letterfest Memorial Pebbles Client: Letterfest (Personalised Memorial Gifts)
The Brief: To create a sensitive and emotionally resonant ad campaign for Letterfest's personalised memorial pebbles. The goal was to validate the grief of pet loss and present the pebble as a meaningful way to create a lasting tribute, while testing different audio approaches to see which resonated best with the audience.
The Approach: I developed a core video concept centered on the durability and emotional significance of the memorial pebble through the changing seasons. The visual narrative remains consistent, showing the pebble enduring through rain, autumn leaves, and winter snow, symbolizing lasting memory. However, to optimize engagement, I created multiple versions with distinct audio strategies: one featuring a direct, empathetic narration validating pet grief, and others utilizing different tonal approaches (e.g., purely atmospheric or softer storytelling) to A/B test audience response.
Key Challenges & Solutions:
Visualizing Permanence: The challenge was to visually communicate that memory—and the product—endures. I utilized AI video tools to simulate the passage of time and weather around the static pebble, creating a poignant visual metaphor for lasting love amidst change.
Tone-Sensitive Audio Strategy: Addressing grief in advertising requires a delicate touch. I used ElevenLabs to generate multiple voiceover variations, allowing us to test different levels of directness and empathy. This data-driven approach ensured we found the most comforting and effective tone for such a sensitive subject.
Outcome: A thoughtful and adaptable campaign that successfully navigated the delicate topic of pet loss. By combining emotive visual storytelling with a rigorous audio testing strategy, we were able to identify the most resonant messaging for audiences seeking a tangible way to honor their beloved pets.
