"Top Bins": Humorous Sports-Style Ad for Letterfest Client: Letterfest (Personalised Portraits)

The Brief: To create a humorous, high-energy promotional ad for Letterfest's personalised portraits, framing the act of giving the gift as a "winning moment." The concept was to treat the reveal of the portrait with the same intensity and excitement as a major sporting event goal.

The Approach: I developed a playful, sports-commentary-style narrative that builds tension as a dad prepares to give the gift. The script uses classic football announcer tropes—analyzing the "play," the "tension," and the final "absolute top bins" moment of success when the mum loves the portrait. The visual execution mirrors this, with dramatic reaction shots and a triumphant final reveal of the portrait on the wall.

Key Challenges & Solutions:

Matching Visuals to High-Energy Audio: The visuals needed to keep pace with the rapid-fire, enthusiastic commentary. I utilized a combination of live-action footage, featuring dramatic close-ups and reactions, and Seedance-generated assets to create a dynamic, fast-paced edit that perfectly synced with the narrator's "play-by-play" calls.

Authentic Sports Commentary Vibe: To achieve a convincing football announcer tone, I used ElevenLabs to generate a voiceover with the specific cadence, excitement, and vocabulary of a sports commentator, turning a simple gift exchange into a thrilling "match".

Outcome: A fun, engaging, and memorable ad that successfully uses humor and a unique narrative style to highlight the emotional impact of a Letterfest personalised portrait, positioning it as the ultimate "winning gift".
